Hole in shadows

Luja, you have a good developing eye for a composition and see a good photograph in scenes most others would walk past. I am drawn to this shot as it raises mixed emotions within me. As a former forestry worker, firstly it takes me back to a younger age working in the woods. but then the darkness of the foreground trees instill almost a sense of foreboding, uncertainty as to what lies ahead. Then your eyes are channeled into the scene to the warm beautiful colours of the leaves ahead. Light in the darkness, and making me want to walk into the scene. Excellent work. Simon
